Legal Intern · Tennessee Rule 7 Limited Practice License / Summer 2026
Knox County District Attorney’s Office
Courtroom advocacy and criminal-law research under a Tennessee Rule 7 limited practice license.
During her summer internship with the Knox County District Attorney’s Office, Naimad practiced under a Tennessee Rule 7 limited practice license. She participated in plea negotiations, announced plea agreements in court, and prepared and argued a probation revocation hearing.
Her research and writing included a response to a suppression motion involving Fourth Amendment search-and-seizure doctrine. She applied Whren v. United States, State v. Bonds, and State v. Green to the contested issues.
She also researched Bruton v. United States and Confrontation Clause issues for a multi-defendant major crimes case. This experience connected careful legal analysis with the practical demands of courtroom preparation.
